We're crazy, right?

When Spencer and I were dating he was sure to tell me he loved dogs.
But he didn't tell me until we were engaged that he loved them so much that he wanted four dogs.
And it wasn't until we were married that he told me he wanted to start that pack now. Like, today.

He searches every single day for the perfect dog. I swear he's an expert about all dogs. Any dog you could think of, he knows if they are good with kids, can handle living in apartments or if they need a house and yard, if they are good guard dogs or if the slobber a lot or if they are calm or hyper.
Anything.
I do love dogs, but seriously. He really really....really loves dogs.

But yes, it would be fun to have one so we have been discussing what dog to get while we still live in an apartment. Believe it or not, we have discussed these dogs:

The American mastiff

German Shepherd

And a Newfoundland.

They are all bigger than me.
Insanely so.

Are we crazy?
(Trust me, they all do well with minimal exercise and living in apartments, ask Spencer)

Get to it, Emily!

So I start a blog and say I'm going to be better than Spencer at updating our life and then I totally fail and don't post for months. I suck.

But, I have newfound motivation and I promise to be better.

Now,
lets get updated to the present, real quick-like.

1. Spencer and I got married and I LOVED it.

2. We went to Cabo for our honeymoon. We got stranded at the airport when we arrived, finally ate delicious, authentic Mexican food and swam in the ocean. ..Among other things..

3. We moved into our new apartment and made it a cutesy, new home.  (After managing this...)

4. We went to Newport, CA for Brandon and Callie's super fun destination wedding.

5. We sat around and did a whole lot of nothing for two months and now,

6. We are back in the swing of things at BYU and still loving our cute life.

Whew.
From here we move on to better and more detailed blogging.
Get ready.

Vegas: Was it worth it?

I went through quite the ordeal to get work off for this weekend trip to Vegas that Spencer's family had put together. Somehow they got most all the aunts and uncles and cousins in one place and it was meant to be quite the party.

But everyone had different schedules and different ideas of fun and half of the family was sick. Not the makings of a great party. We didn't get a lot on our list done and people got more sick as the trip went on.

But I actually had a great time.

I was happy to be away from Provo, the cold, and school and I was glad I had the chance to spend time with Spencer and his siblings and parents.

Saturday we went to the Shark aquarium and I just hate fish and the ocean. So much. But it was still cool and all the little kids had a blast!

Sunday we went to the M&M store, thinking it was the M&M factory but Spencer and I had to leave because the peanut smell was overwhelming. I'm pathetic.

See, look at us, we had so much fun.

But now I'm suffering the consequences with a horrible cold, as is Spencer. I'm pretty miserable. But I don't care, I had fun.
